Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following, Commerce (Finance option), Business Management or Finance, Economics, Business Administration plus Certified Public Accountant CPA-K or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
• At least six (6) years relevant experience in the public service or in the private sector;
• Attended and successfully completed a Senior Management course lasting not less than four (4) Weeks;
• Attended and successfully completed a certificate course in Public Financial Management; and;
• Shown outstanding professional competence and ability in the budget function.
