Mission Description
- An exciting career opportunity has risen in our Airfreight Imports Department. We invite applicants who are performance driven, with excellent transferable skills and a demonstrable track record of achievement in past roles. Based in Nairobi and reporting to the IFF OPERATION SUPERVISOR- TRANSPORT OPERATIONS.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: -
- Drive the vehicle carefully from the loading point to the destination within the agreed timeframes
- Ensure transport and product documentation is dully filled and submitted
- Deliver products on time and in full.
- Attend to minor breakdowns and promptly reports incidents and accidents for action
- Adhere to traffic and Company regulations
- Conduct preliminary diagnosis of trucks and report to relevant persons
- Ensure that scheduled servicing is done as it falls due
- Ensure that trucks are clean at all times
Profile
- O' level or equivalent
- Valid relevant driving license - BCE
- Basic knowledge in mechanics
- Basic geographical knowledge
- Five years' experience, 3 of which should be driving Heavy Commercial Vehicles
