Job Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing the dietetics workshop for practical lessons and demonstrations.
• Assisting trainers in conducting practical sessions in nutrition, dieteticsofood 0. Box 111 preparation and meal planning.
• Preparing ingredients, equipment, tools and materials required for practical training sessions.
• Demonstrating appropriate food preparation, cooking, portioning and presentation techniques to learners under the guidance of the trainer.
• Ensuring the proper use, handling, cleaning and storage of workshop equipment, tools and utensils.
• Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in the dietetics workshop before, during and after practical sessions.
• Identifying defective equipment and reporting the need for repair, replacement or servicing.
• Assisting trainers in preparing practical training materials and resources for competency-based training.
• Supporting learners during practical exercises and ensuring that workshop procedures are followed.
• Maintaining records of workshop usage, consumables, equipment maintenance and practical

Job Specifications

• Higher National diploma or Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and dietetics, Bachelor of Technology in Nutrition and dietetics or its equivalents.
• Must be a registered member of Kenya Nutritionist and dieticians Institute.
