Job Description

• Perform general Security duties, patrols, detection and prevention of crime.
• Preserving the scenes of crime and carrying out initial investigation.
• Apprehend crime offenders for purpose of investigation.
• Preserve scene of crime to keep pertinent evidence uncontaminated.
• Conduct daily security searches and checks.
• Conduct random spot checks to ensure outsourced guards are at their stations.
• Attend to distress calls to enquire and investigate the scene.
• Record incidents in the real-time in the Security Occurrence Book.
• Ensure that signing in and signing out is carried out by security attendants.

Requirements

• Certificate in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
• KCSE mean grade of at least D+ (Plus).
• Skills and knowledge in firefighting and rescue or fire prevention and protection.
• At least five (5) years’ work experience in the relevant field.
• Physical and mental fitness.
• Current Certificate of good conduct.
• Computer literacy.
• A clean record of discharge from the uniformed forces.
