Duties and Responsibilities
- This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be based in the County /Subcounty Workshops and will be attached to plant repair section. The officer will be supervised by a senior officer in the repair and maintenance of plant; the officer will assist in inspecting, and testing plant and equipment before and after repairs; the officer will assist in conducting proficiency test for Plant Operators
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
- Craft certificate in Plant Mechanics or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution
OR
- Government Grade Test III/II/I in Plant Mechanic or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- A valid Driving License, and;
- Certificate in Computer Application skills.
